How to: Create a style from sample text.
Solution:
Use the 'Style' command in the 'Format' menu to create a style from already formatted text.
1) Select the paragraph with the formatting needed for the new style.
2) Click in the 'Style' drop-down list box on the Formatting toolbar. (The name of the current style is selected.)
3) Type the name or the new style.
4) Press ENTER.
5) Click anywhere on the screen to deselect the paragraph.
NOTE 1: Using sample text is the easiest way to create styles; however, the 'Style...' command from the 'Format' menu may also be used to create styles.
NOTE 2: Style definitions can be modified after the style has been defined. To modify a style, select the 'Format' menu and select 'Style...'. Select the style name, then click 'Modify'.
